All stylize effects
Every effect works on any layer, and every setting can be animated.
Tech and screens
- Tracer: finds bright spots, faces or people in footage and draws boxes, coordinates and connecting lines around them: the tracking-HUD look.
- ASCII: rebuilds the picture from text characters, up to falling code like in a hacker film.
- CRT Emulator: turns the picture into an old tube monitor, with pixel masks, a curved screen, glow, tearing and flicker.
- Modulation Glitch: redraws the picture from glowing scan lines that bend around its shapes, for sci-fi and audio-visual looks.
Print and drawing
- Halftone: printed dots in black and white, CMYK or two colors, for comic, pop-art and print looks.
- Illustrator: redraws the picture as pen hatching, like a sketch or an ink drawing.
- Dithering: reduces the colors to a small palette with a dither pattern, from 1-bit to Game Boy and PICO-8, with ten algorithms to choose from.
Glitch
- Ultra Glitch: block shifts, color channels pulled apart and smears in short bursts, made for hits on the beat and glitch transitions.
- Pixelsort: sorts runs of pixels by brightness or hue into long streaks, the classic glitch-art look.
- Data Mosh: pixels melt and smear along the motion of the footage, like a broken video stream.
Color and light
- Colorama: maps the brightness of the picture onto a color gradient, for gradient maps, duotones and colors that cycle when animated.
- Light Rays: volumetric rays from a point or from the edges of a layer, the god rays behind a logo or a title.
- Lens Flare: an optical flare from a point or from bright areas, in modern, vintage or anamorphic style.
- Dispersion: splits the colors toward the edges like a real lens, subtle for realism or strong on impacts and transitions.
Elements
- Electric: electricity crackles along the edges of a layer, for energy, power-ups and sci-fi titles.
- Fire: procedural flames from a layer, a point or a line, for burning text and elements.
